Günter Ohler has been CFO of Mercedes-AMG GmbH since July 2015 and a member of the executive board since April 2018.
After finishing his training at a financial institute Ohler received a masters degree in industrial engineering at the University of Karlsruhe (TH). In 1998, he started as a member of the international trainee program at the Daimler group. From 2003 to 2009 he led the financial operations of the Unimog/special vehicle product division at the Wörth location. Afterwards he was responsible for the global vehicle project controlling of commercial vehicles for the Daimler group and led the new Mercedes-Benz Actros into large-scale production. Subsequently, Günter Ohler took over the controlling and engineering management at the global locations of Daimler Trucks development.
Being a former manager of a private race car team at the Nürburgring Nordschleife racetrack he owns not just extensive controlling experience but also has the genes for "Driving Performance" in Affalterbach.
At Mercedes-AMG GmbH Günter Ohler leads Finance & Controlling as well as the IT division.
